So far, he has been at the SKA helm for 18 games, tallying 13 wins, five losses and a goal difference of 62-36. His first match as a head coach was witnessed on 16 November 1997 as his Khimik Voskresensk team defeated CSKA Moscow 4:1. Valeri has coached Khimik, Spartak Moscow, Atlant Mytishchi, CSKA and SKA Saint Petersburg in the national league.
In 362 KHL regular season matches, forward Evgeny Ketov has tallied 100 (54+46) points, becoming the 14th SKA player to reach this landmark. Furthermore, his goal against Barys was his ninth shorthanded for our team. The 2018/2019 campaign is the only season to date in which Evgeny didn't score shorthanded for SKA.
Evgeny also now has 361 penalty minutes for SKA, trailing only forward Evgeny Artyukhin (358) in the KHL with our club.
Fellow forward Ivan Morozov has scored in all three of his appearances against Barys.
