SKA progressed through the first round of the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs for the 11th consecutive time in club history, a new league record. Dinar Khafizullin has now dished out 85 assists in competitive matches for SKA, more than any other defenseman. Dmitry Kalinin and Anton Belov are behind him in the list with 84 SKA assists to their names. Dinar required 385 games to make his 85 assists, with 71 having been tallied in the regular season and the remaining 14 in the playoffs. 65 were earned at equal strength and 20 on the powerplay.

Boasting 51 (26+25) points, forward Kirill Marchenko is now SKA's highest scorer in the KHL among players under the age of 21. The previous record was held by Vladimir Tarasenko with 50 (26+24) points for our team when 20.
For the first time in his 274 games for SKA, fellow forward Anton Burdasov scored a goal in overtime.
Dinamo Minsk's Brennan Menell, who picked up seven (1+6) points across the five matches, has registered more points than any other defenseman in one single KHL playoff series against SKA. The previous record belonged to Ilya Gorokhov, who earned five (0+5) points in 2012 against SKA for Dynamo Moscow.
