The goal scored by defenseman Lukas Bengtsson in the third period marked SKA's 600th against Dynamo Moscow in the domestic championship. It took our club 255 matches to achieve this. Furthermore, it's worth pointing out that Dynamo are the four organisation to concede a minimum of 600 goals when playing against SKA, following in the footsteps of Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.
The first conceded goal yesterday was the 1000th which SKA have let in over the course of 257 competitive games against Dynamo (there were also two USSR Cup matches between the teams).
Lukas Bengtsson also scored the 150th SKA powerplay goal in the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs. SKA are the first club to achieve this, with Metallurg Magnitogorsk (130 playoff powerplay goals) and Ak Bars Kazan (128 playoff powerplay goals) the nearest challengers in the ranking.
16 defensemen and 34 forwards have all scored at least one powerplay goal for SKA in the Gagarin Cup playoffs. Forward Nikita Gusev has tallied more playoff powerplay markers for our team than anyone else with 17 such goals to his name.
This is the first time when SKA have suffered five consecutive defeats to Dynamo Moscow during one particular KHL campaign. The overall record is six successive losses to CSKA in the 2015/2016 and 2018/2019 seasons.
