SKA Hockey Club and HC Sochi have agreed on a trade. Defensemen Danila Galenyuk and Yury Pautov are moving to Sochi, while fellow defensemen Nikita Kamalov and Nikita Sedov are transferring to Saint Petersburg.
Kamalov will wear the number 12 on his jersey, while Sedov will sport the number 14.
After joining SKA in October 2017, Galenyuk made 93 senior team appearances, contributing with 17 points. Pautov was signed by SKA this summer, competing in 16 KHL matches and dishing out two assists. HC SKA thanks the pair for their efforts, wishing them luck for the future!
Nikita Kamalov was born on 8 August 1995 in Novokuznetsk, Russia. The defenseman stands 183 centimeters tall and weighs 87 kilograms. So far, he has participated in a grand total of 256 KHL games for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Amur Khabarovsk and Sochi, registering 39 (13+26) points. Nikita won the 2019 Winter Universiade.
Nikita Sedov was born on 5 May 2001 Nizhnevartovsk, Russia. The defenseman stands 185 centimeters tall and weighs 85 kilograms. In North America, Nikita played for the Colorado Evolution (15U AAA) and the Regina Pats (WHL) before subsequently signing for Sochi in 2020. In 53 KHL games for Sochi, he picked up four (1+3) points. He competed in the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour and the 2021 Germany Cup.
