19-year-old forward Vasily Podkolzin has now contributed wih 22 (8+14) points in the KHL, a new record for SKA players under the age of 20. Fellow forward Kirill Marchenko was the previous holder of this record with 21 (10+11) points when he was younger than 20.
It took Vasily 70 KHL appearances to tally 22 points in the league. In the past, only Marchenko (10+11), Maxim Sushinsky (11+9) and Yegor Mikhailov (22+15) had also picked up a minimum of 20 points for SKA in the domestic championship when under the age of 20.
In his 50th game of the 2020/2021 KHL campaign, forward Ivan Morozov dished out two assists to increase his overall points haul this season to 27 (11+16). This is a new record among SKA players under the age of 21 in the national championship.
Forward Andrei Kuzmenko, the scorer of the second goal against Jokerit Helsinki, has now earned 100 (43+57) points in 159 KHL regular season matches for SKA. He is the 16th SKA player to register a minimum of 100 regular season points for our club.
