SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with defenseman Igor Ozhiganov. The agreement runs for four years until 30 April 2026.

Igor Ozhiganov was born on 13 October 1992 in Krasnogorsk, Russia. He progressed through the Belie Medvedi system, before subsequently winning the MHL Kharlamov Cup. He started playing in the KHL for CSKA Moscow in the 2010/2011 season. In May 2018, Igor signed a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Initially, he started the 2019/2020 campaign with Ak Bars Kazan, but he moved to SKA during that particular season. With SKA, he has won the Russian championship silver medal once and the KHL bronze on two occasions. He has been one of the top 10 most productive KHL defensemen since joining SKA. In 145 SKA appearances, Igor has tallied 66 (18+48) points and a +35 plus/minus rating.
