SKA have signed a four-year contract with Marat Khairullin

SKA Hockey Club have signed a four-year contract with forward Marat Khairullin. The agreement will run until 30 April 2026.

His KHL rights had already been transferred from Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

This season, Marat made 46 KHL appearances, earning 32 (17+15) points. He tallied three points in four Gagarin Cup playoff games.

Marat Khairullin was born on 15 July 1996 in Volzhsk, Russia. He stands 183 centimeters tall and weighs 82 kilograms, shooting with his left arm. Ahead of the 2015/2016 season, Marat joined the Neftekhimik system, playing for Reaktor and Ariada-NKH. In that particular campaign, he made his KHL debut and scored his maiden goal. Overall, he has participated in 321 KHL matches, picking up 113 points. He was named the best player of the month for the first time in his career in October 2021. With the junior Russian national team, Marat competed in the Super Series against junior Canadian teams. In May of this year, he played for the senior Russian national team for the first time, and he had previously represented the Russian Olympic team last season.
