SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with defenseman Alexander Nikishin. The agreement runs for three years until 30 April 2025.
Alexander Nikishin was born on 2 October 2001 in Oryol, Russia. The defenseman stands 193 centimeters tall and weighs 98 kilograms. He progressed through the CSKA Moscow system, before making his KHL debut in 2019 for Spartak. Overall, Alexander registered 23 (10+13) points in 105 KHL appearances with the Moscow-based organisation. He won a silver medal with the national team at the 2022 Olympic Games.
At the Nikolai Puchkov Tournament in Saint Petersburg, Nikishin scored his maiden goal for SKA when playing against Sibir Novosibirsk.
