SKA have signed a new contract with Kirill Kirsanov

SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with defenseman Kirill Kirsanov. The agreement will last for two seasons until 30 April 2023.

Kirill Kirsanov was born on 19 September 2002 in Tver, Russia. He played for Tverichi and the Vityaz Podolsk system before joining SKA in the summer of 2019. In the 2019/2020 campaign, he won the U21 Russian championship with SKA-1946, also winning the Hlinka/Gretzky Cup and the World Challenge Cup with the under 18 Russian national team. He is a silver medalist of the World U18 Championship. This season, he made his debut for the senior national team, picking up his first point in his sixth appearance.

In the 2020/2021 season, Kirill participated in 35 KHL matches for SKA, contributing with four assists.
