SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with Maxim Groshev. The deal with the forward will now run until the completion of the 2022/2023 campaign.
The previous agreement was originally due to expire upon the completion of the current season.
Maxim joined SKA on November 1 as a consequence of a trade with HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. Overall, the 18-year-old has made 55 KHL appearances so far, contributing with nine (1+8) points. At international level, the forward has claimed a silver medal at both the 2019 World U18 Championship and the 2020 World Junior Championship, while also recently winning the 2020 Karjala Cup.
