SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with Swedish forward Malte Stromwall. The agreement will run for two years until 30 April 2023.


Malte Stromwall is a forward born on 24 August 1994 in Lulea, Sweden. He stands 182 centimeters tall and weighs 86 kilograms. In the 2018/2019 campaign, Malte became the leading scorer of the SM-Liiga with KooKoo, tallying 30 goals and 27 assists for the Finnish club in 52 appearances. Malte subsequently transferred to Sochi ahead of the 2019/2020 season, before moving to SKA during the following campaign. Overall, in 109 KHL matches, he has registered 67 (38+29) points. He made his debut for the Swedish national team last year in the Euro Hockey Tour. In the past, he has also played in the WHL, AHL and ECHL in North America.
