SKA have extended Dinar Khafizullin's contract

SKA Hockey Club and Dinar Khafizullin have come to an agreement over a new contract. The defenseman's deal runs for four years and will expire after the 2021/2022's KHL season.

Dinar Khafizullin is a defenseman who came through the Kazan ice hockey system. He made his KHL debut with Ak Bars in 2006, before transferring to Vityaz in the 2010/2011 season. Dinar became a SKA player in 2014, becoming a KHL Gagarin Cup champion in 2015 and 2017. He is a Russian championship gold, silver and bronze medalist with SKA, also winning the KHL Opening Cup and Kontinental Cup in the 2017/2018 campaign. In 242 SKA matches, Dinar has taken 67 (15+52) points and a +66 plus/minus rating.
