SKA have extended Mikhail Maltsev's contract
SKA Hockey Club have signed a new agreement with forward Mikhail Maltsev. This season, Mikhail played for SKA's senior team, making 18 appearances in the KHL and earning five assist. Mikhail picked up a plus/minus rating of +5. He also played in the MHL and VHL.

Mikhail Maltsev was born on March 12, 1998 and is a centre forward. In the 2014/2015 season, he began his professional career in Saint Petersburg. He competed with the under 18 Russian national team in the MHL during the following campaign, later returning to parent club SKA. His KHL debut with SKA came in September 2017 in a match against HC Lada Togliatti. In the 2017/2018 season, Mikhail became a KHL Kontinental Cup winner and a bronze medalist of the Russian championship. He participated in the 2018 World Junior Championship with Russia U20.
