On Wednesday, SKA made it seven consecutive wins in the 2019/2020 KHL regular season, defeating HC Sochi 4:2 at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace.
Yaroslav Askarov, 17, made his debut between the SKA pipes.
Jarno Koskiranta stole the show for SKA, registering three points with two goals and the one assist. Andrei Kuzmenko and Sergei Plotnikov scored the remaining two SKA markers.
SKA will now compete in two consecutive away games against Dinamo Riga and CSKA Moscow, with the series beginning on November 30.
