SKA - HC Sochi. Match facts
For the first time in the club's history, four SKA goalkeepers have earned victories against one single KHL opponent in one season. 18-year-old Yaroslav Askarov was in net yesterday, while the first three wins over Sochi had been registered by Mikhail Berdin, Magnus Hellberg and Alexander Samonov.
By scoring a wonderful goal in the second period, forward Andrei Kuzmenko tallied his 150th (69+81) point in 287 KHL games. Furthermore, 15 goals in a KHL regular season is indeed a new personal best for Andrei, beating his previous record of 14 goals from the 2019/2020 campaign.
Fellow forward Malte Stromwall is the first player in the current season to gain points both for and against SKA in matches against one opponent. On Tuesday, the Swede dished out two assists, while he had scored against SKA for Sochi in Saint Petersburg on October 9.
Defenseman Yaroslav Dyblenko's fourth SKA goal was his first winner for our club.
