In the 2020/2021 KHL regular season, goalkeepers Alexander Samonov, Magnus Hellberg, Mikhail Berdin and Yaroslav Askarov have each earned victories against HC Sochi and Vityaz Podolsk. Four separate goaltenders picking up wins against one particular opponent is a new club record.
Forward Andrei Kuzmenko has now scored 18 goals this season, beating his record of 17 for CSKA Moscow in the 2017/2018 campaign and SKA last season.
Fellow forward Vladimir Tkachyov has dished out 10 assists in competitive matches against Vityaz, more than any other SKA player.
Defenseman Igor Ozhiganov hit the jackpot against Vityaz in three out of the four meetings between the two teams this season. Igor is only the third SKA defenseman in the KHL to score goals in three games against one opponent during one regular season, following in the footsteps of Andrei Kuteikin against Dynamo Moscow (2014/2015) and Patrik Hersley against Jokerit Helsinki (2018/2019).
Goalkeeper Alexander Samonov earned his seventh KHL shutout in his career. Four of them have been gained for SKA, with the remaining three having been picked up when representing Vityaz.
