SKA Hockey Club have signed a new contract with forward Maxim Karpov. The agreement runs until the conclusion of the 2021/2022 KHL campaign.

Maxim joined SKA in the summer of 2017 from HC Dynamo Moscow. With SKA, he has become a KHL Kontinental Cup winner, while also claiming two Russian championship bronze medals. In the 2018/2019 season, Maxim competed in 51 games across both the KHL regular season and the Gagarin Cup playoffs, tallying 27 (11+16) points. 22 (9+13) points, alongside a +15 plus/minus rating, were achieved in the regular season and five points (2+3_ were registered in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.
