In the third game of the 2020 Sochi Hockey Open, SKA came up short against HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, conceding a heavy 2:6 defeat.
Initially, Andrei Kuzmenko gave SKA the lead in the first period, but Lokomotiv subsequently grabbed four unanswered goals in the second to open up a large advantage.
During the third stanza, Anton Burdasov did get SKA a consolation marker, but it wasn't enough to save the team from a loss.
SKA will take on Lokomotiv again tomorrow at 17.15 local time in the concluding game of the competition.
