In the second match of the 2020 Sochi Hockey Open, SKA once again proved far too strong for HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, powering to an emphatic 6:2 victory.
Andrei Kuzmenko quickly handed SKA the lead in the second minute of play. However, after responding well, Lokomotiv promptly scored two goals of their own through Artur Kayumov and Vladimir Tkachyov to open up a 2:1 advantage after the first period.
Nevertheless, SKA subsequently burst into life in the second stanza, netting three goals within 180 seconds as Anton Burdasov, Kuzmenko and Igor Ozhiganov hit the target. Kirill Marchenko added a fifth in the 36th minute.
Burdasov grabbed his second of the game in the third period to round off the win.
