The second goal, scored by defenseman Lukas Bengtsson, was SKA's 50th of the 2020/2021 KHL season in just the 17th game. SKA are the first team of the Western Conference to reach this landmark. Furthermore, it's also worth noting that all three of Lukas' last three markers for SKA against Vityaz Podolsk (3:2 OT), Lokomotiv (4:2) and HC Sochi (4:1) have turned out to be the winning goals.
Swedish goalkeeper Magnus Hellberg has now registered 50 victories with SKA. He required 75 appearances to achieve this, second in the list behind Igor Shestyorkin who needed 70 games to tally 50 wins for our club. Overall, in 13 KHL seasons, only five SKA goalkeepers have earned a minimum of 50 triumphs. Two-time Gagarin Cup champion Mikko Koskinen is in first place with 111 victories, followed by Shestyorkin (87 wins), Ilya Ezhov (54 wins) and Jakub Stepanek (52 wins).
Magnus has now earned victories against 19 different clubs in the KHL. This was the first occasion when he competed against Sochi for SKA. He has played in games against 23 opponents, with the Swede still waiting for a win against Avangard, Neftekhimik, Salavat Yulaev and CSKA Moscow. Magnus is yet to take to the ice against Amur.
Dinar Khafizullin has participated in 261 KHL regular season matches for SKA, more than any other defenseman in our team's league history. Forward Evgeny Ketov is still in first place among all SKA players with 351 regular season games to his name.
