Sochi Winter Cup. Sochi - SKA - 4:5 OT

In the opening match of the Sochi Winter Cup, SKA outlasted host club Sochi in an entertaining battle, recovering from a two-goal deficit to eventually emerge victorious by a score of 5:4 after overtime.

Zakhar Bardakov - who had also hit the target shorthanded during the second period - ended the game with a mere 19 seconds remaining in the extra frame.

Alexander Volkov (powerplay goal), Mikhail Vorobyov and Marat Khusnutdinov (shorthanded goal) had also tallied markers for our team.

SKA will now prepare to face Admiral Vladivostok at 19:30 local time on Friday.
