Thank you, Ilya Kovalchuk!

Forward Ilya Kovalchuk has agreed on a contract with the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL and will continue his career in North America.

Since joining SKA in 2012, Ilya won the KHL Gagarin Cup and Kontinental Cup twice, became a Russian champion and claimed the KHL Opening Cup. He also earned silver and bronze medals of the Russian championship.

In 2015, he was the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs Most Valuable Player (MVP), was the top scorer in the 2017/2018 KHL regular season and set a new scoring record for SKA in 2017. As a SKA player, Ilya took silver from the 2015 World Championship and won Olympic gold in 2018.
