SKA Hockey Club and the Evgeny Plyuschenko academy have teamed up for a joint project at Hockey City in Saint Petersburg - a figure skating school for children between two and six years of age. The academy will open in September and training sessions will take place both on and off the ice.
Evgeny Plyuschenko became an Olympic champion in 2006 and 2014, while claiming Olympic silver in 2002 and 2010. He also won the World Championship on three occasions. Evgeny tasted glory in seven European Championships and ten Russian championships. Since 2017, he has worked as the head coach of the Angels of Pluschenko figure skating school.
