SKA Hockey Club and HC Sochi have agreed on a trade. Forward Vasily Glotov is moving to Saint Petersburg, while fellow forward Artyom Fyodorov is transferring to Sochi.

Vasily Glotov was born on 4 September 1997 in Barnaul, Russia. He initially started his career with hometown club Motor Barnaul, before subsequently competing for Dynamo, Serebryanye Akuly, Severnaya Zvezda and SKA Serebryanye Lvy at youth level.

From 2016 to 2019, Vasily played for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Shawinigan Cataractes, Cincinnati Cyclones and the Rochester Americans in North America.

Vasily moved back to Russia with SKA in the 2019/2020 campaign. He picked up 22 (14+8) points in 43 VHL matches with SKA-Neva, winning the bronze medal of the competition. In the KHL, he gained three (2+1) points in 13 KHL appearances and become a Russian championship silver medalist in 2020.

He signed for Sochi in November 2020, subsequently registering 34 (18+16) KHL points in 86 games.
