Valeri Bragin has now earned 100 victories as a head coach in the domestic championship. The first win arrived on 16 November 1997 with Khimik Voskresensk, with his team defeating CSKA Moscow 4:1. Interestingly, on 23 November 1997, he picked up his first away triumph as his Khimik side beat SKA 4:2. It has taken Bragin 220 matches to reach this landmark.
