Vladimir Tkachyov is returning to SKA!

SKA Hockey Club have signed a two-year contract with forward Vladimir Tkachyov through to the completion of the 2020/2021 season. The club had already earned his rights from Salavat Yulaev Ufa in exchange for the rights to fellow forward Nikita Soshnikov.

Vladimir Tkachyov was born on October 5, 1995 in Omsk, Russia. He is 178 centimeters tall and weighs 74 kilograms. In Omsk, he started his career with the Omskie Yastreby, where he won the MHL Kharlamov Cup. He played at the World U18 Championship with Russia and tallied six assists, the highest amount in the team. After that, he spent time in North America, before returning to Russia with SKA in the 2015/2016 season. Vladimir later played for Admiral and Salavat Yulaev Ufa. In the 2018/2019 campaign, he made 70 appearances for Ufa, contributing with 36 (9+27) points. He also represented the Russian national team in the Euro Hockey Challenge.
