The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has revealed which players were the best during the past playing week.
The best defenseman is Artyom Zub of SKA. In three matches, he scored four goals, including a hat trick against HC Barys in Kazakhstan. He also tallied a plus/minus rating of +3.
SKA goalkeeper Alexei Melnichuk is the best KHL rookie of the week. In two appearances, he helped SKA claim two victories, in particular registering a shutout against Sibir in Novosibirsk - his fourth in the current campaign. Alexei gained a save percentage of 97.01% and a goals against average of 1.01.
Vadim Shipachyov of Dynamo Moscow is the best forward and Amur Khabarovsk representative Evgeny Alikin is the top goaltender.
