Mikhail Maltsev was born on 12 March 1998 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He stands 190 centimeters tall and weighs 97 kilograms. In 2014, Mikhail started his professional career after progressing through the SKA system, playing in both the MHL and VHL before he earned a chance with our senior team in the KHL in the 2017/2018 campaign. He won the 2017/2018
Kontinental Cup and the Russian championship bronze medal with SKA. In the KHL, Mikhail has played in 48 games for SKA, gaining 10 (2+8) points. Last season, he represented the Binghamton Devils in the AHL, earning 21 (11+10) points in 49 matches. Mikhail has also participated at the World Junior Championship with the Russian national team.
