Evgeny Ketov is a forward who learnt his trade with HC Molot-Prikamye Perm. His career got started with Avangard's reserve team in 2002, and he then transferred to CSKA VVS. Lada Tolyatti took him on board afterwards where he spent four seasons, and in the process won the Continental Cup in 2006 and was voted the best forward of the tournament. He then became a player of Severstal Cherepovets after a spell with Ak Bars. Evgeny spent four seasons with Severstal, and he was the club captain for the last two. In 2013 he signed a contract with SKA. On the international front he became a silver medalist of the 2006 World Junior Championship, and he became a world champion with the main Russian national team in 2012. He has been awarded with the Master of Sports title in Russia.
