Patrick Thoresen - Norwegian forward, gratuated from Storhamar hoackey school. Spent 2 seasons in Norway, became its Champion and then set off to North America, where played for Monkton and Drakkar. In 2003 returned to Europe: he played for Djurgarden for three seasons, in playoffs 2006 joined the Austrian Salzburg and then got back to America. He spent two season in Edmonton Oilers system, playing in NHL and AHL, has also played for Philadelphia Flyers. He started 2008 in Lugano from Switzerland, then in 2009/2010 he became a Salavat Yulaev player. The very first KHL season brought him bronze medals of Russian Championship. The next season brought gold to Ufa and Patrick, along with being a Champion and Gagarin Cup holder became also best playoffs assistant and the KHL top scoring foreign player. In 2010 and 2011 took part in All Star Games. SKA has signed him in 2011/2012. In St.Petersburg he once again became a bronze medalist of Russian Championship, Continental Cup holder and KHL top scoring foreign player.
Patrick began to play Norwegian national team from 1999, got through all age levels - from U18 to the main team. He is a two-time Golden Puck Trophy holder - it's the prize for best Norwegian player. In 2004 Norway was second in World Div.I, and in 2005 got the first place and moved to the main league. At the World Championship in 2012 Thoresen was chosen as the top-5 player. He participated also in Olympic Games in 2010 and 2014.
